Prior to our son moving and coming under the care of Action4care we were in a permanent state of anxiety and our physical and emotional health was suffering. Now we are happy and relaxed and enjoying a life of our own knowing that we trust the team to care for him.

Our son has lived at Milford Lodge for two and a half years, since it first opened.

He moved there from a different Care Provider as we had become increasingly unhappy about the poor care he was receiving. Our son was becoming very unhappy and was consequently displaying challenging behaviour.

We are thankful every single day that he is cared for and supported by the wonderful team at Milford Lodge. He has thrived in the loving ,caring ,structured environment.

We very recently took some close family to visit our son and spend the afternoon at the home. As we left my brother said "Well it just doesn't get better than that !" and we couldn't agree more.

Prior to our son moving and coming under the care of Action4care we were in a permanent state of anxiety and our physical and emotional health was suffering. Now we are happy and relaxed and enjoying a life of our own knowing that we trust the team to care for him.

Our son enjoys a very full activity packed life and now couldn't be happier.

The staff are very carefully selected and trained well. the house is always spotless yet warm and homely and not institutionalised. The manager and senior team work closely with us and always ask for our thoughts and advice when necessary.

Any issues we raise are dealt with quickly and there is an honest and open communication with us

So once again in my brothers words "It doesn't get better than this"

When carrying out a pathway plan review, I received comments from the parents of the young person saying that they feel that their daughter's needs are met beautifully by the staff and they are very pleased with the level of care that is given.

I am the allocated leaving care case worker for a young person who has moved to The Lodge this summer.

The transition was well planned, the placement is ideal for the young person and she has settled in really well.

The support staff have been excellent in working out a programme that not only meets the young person's needs but also works towards further development.

I have noticed a positive change in the young person already.

When carrying out a pathway plan review, I received comments from the parents of the young person saying that they feel that their daughter's needs are met beautifully by the staff and they are very pleased with the level of care that is given.

I have also found the communication with members of staff to be excellent.
