Meet the Manager
Helen Grange
“I have been the manager of Oaklands since November 2015,before I started at Oaklands I was a social worker for North Yorkshire Council, a foster carer and a really long time ago a support worker.
I was lucky enough to become the manager at Oaklands before the build had been finished and I really enjoyed getting the house ready for everyone to move in.
I slowly moved every person in and made their room as person centred as they would want, we even made sure the garden had a trampoline and a swing as it was a special request! In 2019 the last of the people to call Oaklands there permanent home moved in. We have slowly got used to living and working together.”
